I applied for my first Brunei Visa at the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam, Dhaka on 22nd March 2018. I personally did not have a clear idea about the documents as the High Commission has no website or any other sources with a clear list of visa documentation, but somehow I had all of them with me.
Required Documents for Visit Visa: 1. One completed visa application form. 2. 2 recent passport size photograph. 3. Applicant's Passport (Must be valid for at least 6 months) 4. Original Bank Statement with Bank Solvency Letter. 5. One copy of Itinerary and Flight schedule (I provided confirmed e-ticket) 6. Confirmed hotel booking. (I provided one from booking.com) 7. NOC for Service Holders/ Trade License (Notarized) for Business Owners. 8. Forwarding Letter from the Applicant stating the reason for travel. 9. Visa Fee: Tk. 1400/-
Interview: Yes (I waited for 10 minutes, but thankfully the Consular Approved mine without an interview and then the assistant asked me to pay and handed over the collection slip)
Processing Time: Minimum 3 working days excluding day of submission (I was asked to collect my passport on 28th March, but then I had to do "something out of the box" to get it done then and there, as I already had my flight booked for 26th March)
Validity: 3 Months from Date of Issuance (You can only stay for the mentioned no. of days, but you can enter within the validity)
Submission: 9:30am to 11:00am (Sunday to Thursday) Collection: 2:00pm to 2:30pm (Sunday to Thursday)
Notes: It's a bit of hassle and not as smooth as applying for your Thai Visa at VFS/Saimon, as there is usually a line consisting of Job/ Work Visa applicants and agents!
Address: Bruneian High Commission in Dhaka, Bangladesh House No. 26, Road No. 6 Baridhara, Dhaka 1212. Phone: 02-9861837 (It's right opposite Malaysian High Commission, Dhaka)
